Meet The DJs
 Dominic Meyer - CEDJ ADJ  University Graduate
By founding Sunset Mobile Music in 1980, Dominic Meyer culminated a dream that began while growing up in El Cajon . Twenty-nine years later he heads one of San Diego's leading DJ entertainment companies. The result of his musical magic can be seen in his contracts with some of San Diego's most prominent sites including The San Diego Maritime Museum and the Karl Strauss Brewery Gardens.
Continually working his craft, Dominic participates in seminars with the industry's best. His expansive knowledge of music history and styles combined with a mastery of timeless presentation, Dominic creates an environment for 21 people to 2,100 to enjoy. Sunset Mobile Music's leader has had his finger on the pulse of ever-moving trends in music and entertainment for a wide scope of occasions.
When he's not entertaining his twin 16 year-olds, Dominic is working arduously producing effortless DJ entertainment. On any given weekend you will find Dominic involved in personal moments that fan his professional fire. The father-daughter dance and the perfect best man toast are all moments to treasure, but for Dominic these personal connections have made his livelihood a pleasure.
 Victor Leamon ADJ University Graduate
When Victor began his tenure at Sunset Mobile Music in 2006, Sunset not only employed another DJ well-versed in playing Spanish-language music, but also a bilingual emcee who speaks the music's language fluently.
Victor's appreciation for music goes beyond the Latin genre. His varied background and appreciation of each genre of music plays into putting the perfect amount of heart and soul into any given event.
For him, the best DJ moments arrive when a crowd swoons over his latest track. Music's true power is found at the events where it is required to provide the background and pulse. From weddings to reunions, Victor's versatile background in each of music's nuances is why he finds a second home with a dance floor in front of him.
Frank Trenti ADJ University Graduate
Frank started as a DJ/MC for Sunset Mobile Music over 20 years ago, and is very knowledgeable in every aspect of the wedding industry.
Frank skills as a DJ/MC/Entertainer has translated into his other passion of aviation. An accomplished flight instructor, he understands that just like flight students. "Each person is different and unique." Frank says, "Each one of our wedding couples and even those companies that hire us to provide entertainment for them each has a different vision of what they want. You can never treat them the same".
When asked, Frank said the most rewarding thing about being a DJ is that "You get to be a part of a moment that is once in a lifetime. You get to contribute to bringing everyone together so that the memories they share will last for years."
 Myson King
Myson has been entertaining crowds since 1995 and sees his ideal mix as a melding of today's hits with the classics that move everyone. Myson's emceeing presence is a product of working crowds that began in elementary school when he was always picked to DJ lip-sync contests. The San Jose native moved to San Diego in the summer of 2003 and Sunset Mobile Music employed its latest entertainer.
For years, Myson made a living in Charlottesville, Virginia playing college parties, radio and any public forum that required a DJ. It was there he found the secret to his ideal mix—it must speak to each soul in the crowd. With a dose of hit songs, a dash of funk and classic soul, his goal is always the same, to bring everyone to the dance floor.
Today Myson has become one of Sunset Mobile Music most popular! Be it a class reunion, downtown nightclub, or wedding reception. Myson has been nominated as San Diego's Favorite Club DJ in both 2009 and 2010!
 Charley Sharp
Charley has been spinning discs since most of his friends were flipping burgers. Saturday and Sunday evenings during his senior year of high school, Charlie was on the radio channeling his strong vocal presence. Loving the music while losing the constraints of radio, Charley enjoys personally connecting to an audience. A passion for music is what also drove Charley to discover a perfect match in Sunset Mobile Music for the last 20 years.
Charley was also lucky enough to be part of the live stage show that eventually made it to television. MTV's Americas Best Dance Crew, acting as the original sound mixer and DJ. A role he continues today for Hip Hop International. He also serves as a DJ and producer for Fox and ESPN fitness shows. Devoted to hard work, he brings that ethic to each event he emcees.
His method has always remained constant, creating the energy an electric crowd can generate. Beginning a song as two people in the height of love start their dance, he can witness music's effect on people's hearts and souls.
